Frequently Asked Questions
Frequently asked questions about our services, scheduling, insurance, and what to expect with physical therapy.
-
We are currently in-network with Medicare. For patients with other insurance plans, we offer affordable self-pay visits and can provide a superbill that you may submit to your insurance company for possible reimbursement.
-
A superbill is a detailed receipt containing the information your insurance company may require to reimburse you for out-of-network physical therapy services.
-
Most patients in Colorado can begin physical therapy without a referral through direct access. However, Medicare patients must have a physician or qualified healthcare provider certify their plan of care after the initial evaluation for therapy services to be covered.
-
Yes. Physical therapy is typically an eligible expense for both Health Savings Accounts (HSA) and Flexible Spending Accounts (FSA). We can provide detailed receipts upon request for your records and reimbursement documentation.
-
We are not in-network with Medicare Advantage plans. If you have a Medicare Advantage plan, you would be considered self-pay for services. We can still provide you with a detailed receipt (superbill) upon request that you may submit to your plan to check for any possible out-of-network reimbursement.
